Man killed in Nova Scotia crash; Ottawa woman critically injured
A 65-year-old Ottawa resident died Saturday when a pickup truck hit his vehicle near Lunenburg on Highway 103.

A 65-year-old Ottawa man was killed and a 64-year-old Ottawa woman critically injured in a two-vehicle collision near Lunenburg, Nova Scotia on Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 103 in Clearland, in a construction zone where traffic was controlled by temporary signals. An RCMP investigation found that a westbound Dodge Ram entered the zone and collided with a Toyota RAV4, then a Jeep Cherokee.
The man driving the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries. No one else in either vehicle sustained serious injuries.
RCMP thanked bystanders who assisted at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid.
