Saturday warmth—grab brunch, catch the match, live music tonight.

Twenty-two degrees and mostly cloudy—it's warm enough to actually want to be outside, and you've got real daylight until 9:42 PM, so don't feel like you need to rush anything. UV's running high at 8.0, so if you're spending the afternoon in Central Memorial or heading out to Spruce Meadows, slip some sunscreen on.

If you're heading south on the Foothills, keep an eye on conditions and the road cameras—nothing flagged as closed, but it's worth a quick check before you go.

Couple things worth knowing this morning: the Okotoks Dawgs just locked down top seed at Baseball Canada's Road to Okotoks tournament, which is solid bragging rights for the region. On a tougher note, the food bank's seeing demand hit 1,000 hampers a day across the city right now, even as other data suggests things are improving overall—if you've got a bit to spare, it's worth remembering.

For lunch or brunch, An Sang just opened up with pho-focused Vietnamese breakfast service if you want to try something new and aren't tired of the pho talk yet. It's one of those openings that actually changes what you can grab in the morning around here.

Here's your evening: Cavalry FC's playing HFX Wanderers at Spruce Meadows at 1:00 PM if you want a live match this afternoon. Then tonight, Los Prisioneros are at Pawn Shop Live (formerly Union Hall) at 8:00 PM—if you're into them, it's a solid plan. After that, if you're still wound up, Common Saturdays at Commonwealth Bar does a free RSVP at 10:00 PM, which is the kind of low-key Saturday night that works when you don't want to overthink it.

Weather's on your side all day. Get out there.
