Sunday cool—get outside before the sun dips at 9.

It's mist and 11°C out there right now, which means layers if you're heading out early. That UV's sitting at 6—high for a grey day—so don't let the clouds fool you if you're planning a park session. You've got nearly 15 hours of daylight, so there's real time to get outside before sunset hits at 9:09 PM. Perfect window for a long walk or to grab a spot in one of the big parks while it's still light.

On the roads, keep an eye on the foothills if you're heading that way—check the cameras before you go, conditions can shift quick out there. Nothing major in the city proper this morning.

Few stories worth clocking: there's a water main break and sinkhole that took out about 20 businesses in Bowness Saturday, so that area's still sorting itself. On a lighter note, the Calgary Zoo's got some genuinely cool work happening with their Amur tigers—training them for their own medical care, which is the kind of thing that makes you think differently about the animals. And Calgary Wild FC got their first NSL win of the season yesterday, rallying past Vancouver—worth knowing if you're following the squad.

If you're eating out, Arepa Boss finally opened a proper brick-and-mortar in Marda Loop after years grinding it out at markets—worth a visit if you've been waiting. Actually Pretty Good's closing their First Street spot after five years, so if that's your spot, heads up. Alberta on the Plate is back with over 40 restaurants in a 10-day festival, which is a good time to try something new. And if you're a Happy Lamb Hot Pot regular, they've got their 20th anniversary special running through tomorrow.

One food safety note: Costco pulled Alfa Croissants nationwide over a potential mould contamination, so check your freezer if you've got any stashed.

For tonight, Chiodos are headlining The Palace at 7:00 PM with Second Harbour, Sace6, and 156/Silence on the bill—if that's your lane, there's your plan. If live music's not calling you, Commonwealth's got a free DJ set worth checking out. Either way, you've got time to hit a park like St Patrick's Island this afternoon while there's still light, then catch an evening out.

Stay warm out there. See you around.
