Cool Sunday—pick your show and bundle up.

It's a proper fall morning—2°C and clear, so you'll want the jacket. Heads up there's a fog advisory in play, so if you're heading to the foothills or mountains early, take it easy on the roads and keep your lights on. You've got a good stretch of daylight though—nearly 13 hours before sunset at 7:55 PM, so there's time to move.

If you're after a daytime outing, Monster Jam's rolling into GMC Stadium at 3:00 PM. That's monster trucks doing what monster trucks do—good noise, good chaos, good for anyone who digs that energy.

New eats worth knowing about: An Sang just opened on the Red Mile and is bringing proper Vietnamese breakfast culture to that stretch. If you're thinking about a bigger dinner, Revelwoods Tavern has landed in the old Bookers space in the southeast—Southern comfort food is the play there. And if you want to sample a bunch of spots without committing your whole wallet, Feast on Fourth is running this month with dishes for ten bucks from 16 different restaurants on 4th Street.

Tonight's got three live shows lined up. Casual ABlack Magic Canada Tour with Special Guest Pep Love is at Commonwealth Bar starting at 7:00 PM if hip-hop's your lane. Over at the Palace Theatre at 8:00 PM, Jose Gonzalez is bringing his Against The Dying Of The Light Tour—that's alt-folk territory, moody and solid. And if you want something in between, Ben Bankas is at Deerfoot Inn and Casino at 7:30 PM (18+). Pick your vibe and go—all indoor, so the cold won't chase you away.

On the news side, a few things worth a read: North Railway Street down in Okotoks just reopened after a two-year renewal project, so if you head that way, things should flow better. Premier Smith made some noise about Calgary City Hall's closed-door meetings, flagging it as "not good practice." And if you've switched to the new Care-First auto insurance system, savings are landing bigger than expected—worth checking your policy.

Stay warm out there. See you on the other side of sunset.
