Tuesday gets sharp—bundle up and pick your night.

It's a proper cold one out there this morning—sitting at minus one, but the wind's making it feel closer to minus three. Clear skies mean you'll see the mountains sharp as anything, but you're trading that for a real bite in the air. Layer up if you're heading out, and if you're biking or walking any distance, gloves aren't optional today. The sun's dropping at 6:33 tonight, so plan your evening plans around that if you're heading outside later.

Roads are running clean this morning, so your commute should move. Nothing major clogging the usual routes—just watch for the cold if you're on the Deerfoot or the Henday, since black ice can sneak up when it gets this sharp overnight.

Couple things worth knowing on the local beat: RCMP's looking into a starter gun found in a student's possession at Bow Valley High School. Also keeping an eye on Saddletowne Circle after a deadly transit collision—safety's being scrutinized there. On a brighter note, Airdrie's marking 60 years of community support services, and they've got grants open through November 9 if you know anyone who could use it.

If your stomach's calling, you're spoiled for choice around here. Pizza's having a moment—whether you're after something classic or adventurous, there's a half-dozen spots worth the detour. If the weather's got you thinking comfort food, pho bowls are the move on a day like this, or you could swing warm and intimate with fondue and champagne if you're feeling it.

Tonight's your call: if you want to warm up indoors, there's live music on the calendar and the Flames are playing—pick whatever matches your mood after work. Hockey's always a solid Tuesday move, or if you want something quieter and live, that's there too. Indoor's going to feel pretty good in this cold anyway.

Stay warm out there and catch you tomorrow.
