Thirty cars were spotted huddled under the Stoney Trail and Glenmore Trail interchange during Saturday's hail, parking on road shoulders and creating dangerous conditions for everyone trying to use the highway. Not the safest move — maybe find better shelter next time.
A$AP Rocky returned to the Saddledome for the first time in 8 years Saturday night and absolutely delivered. The show started more than an hour late while crew tested lights and pyro, but once he got on stage, he played deep cuts, brought out fellow A$AP Mob member Twelvyy, and pushed past curfew to get through the full setlist. When power cut to the whole Dome mid-show, his mic was the only thing still on — so he freestyled about Calgary and lowkey dissed Toronto. Legendary.
Phil's on 11th is closed and people are bummed about it — no word yet on when or if it's coming back.

a Prussian carp just showed up in Evanston Pond — nobody knows how it got there since there's no water connection to Nose Creek. also found invasive Virile Crayfish.
Someone found a small deer with fuzzy antlers in their yard near the Stampede grounds. It's not a baby but not full-grown either. Trying to give it space but also worried it lost its mom with coyotes in the area.
Someone working a food vendor at the Stampede is worried about serious health violations they've noticed. Says it's a food safety issue and feels bad for customers buying the products.
