Multiple people were injured at a water park in Cultus Lake, British Columbia, on Monday morning, according to the RCMP.
Chilliwack RCMP responded at 11:20 a.m. to the water park. All injured people are stable and being transported to hospital for medical treatment, police said, though they did not provide the number of victims or their ages.
The facility is closed to the public but hosts school groups during weekdays as the school year winds down. Multiple air ambulances were called to the scene. Police remain on scene as the investigation unfolds. It is not yet known if any children were injured.
