Sunday rain: brunch, Cirque, and live music indoors

It's wet out there — 17°C and heavy rain rolling through all day, so whatever you're doing, you're doing it under a roof or with an umbrella. Circue du Soleil's new show "Echo" is running both a matinee at 1:30 PM (Jacques Cartier Pier or the big top down at the Old Port) and an evening show at 5:00 PM if you want to make an afternoon of it. It's indoors under the tent, so the rain won't touch you. That's your marquee move for the day.

Or find one of the city's best ice-cream spots and sit with a coffee and something sweet while the rain does its thing outside.

Or skip straight to tonight: Daraîche et filles are at the Cabaret du Casino at 4:00 PM, or if you're feeling the full immersion vibe, Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" production is on at Le Dome at 5:30 PM — that one's a whole thing, not just a show.
