Saturday's all yours — Osheaga's live, Cirque's waterfront, tennis is on.

Alright, you've got a proper summer Saturday ahead — mild, no rain in sight, though that UV's sitting at 7, so if you're heading outside for a few hours, sunscreen's not just a suggestion. Sun goes down at 8:23 tonight, so you've got a full fourteen and a half hours of daylight to work with. Perfect for whatever you've got planned.

If you're driving anywhere downtown come Monday, file this away: Route 136 eastbound shuts down August 3rd through 6th for storm sewer work. That means detours are coming, so best to plan your route now if you've got something locked in for those days.

On the food front, a couple of things worth a look. La Soupière Malatang opened up on Ste-Catherine West if you're in the mood for customizable Sichuan hot pot — that's the kind of spot where you build exactly what you want in a bowl. Or if you want something that just feels right on a Saturday, L'Express on Saint-Denis does a proper Parisian bistro vibe without the transatlantic flight. And there's a brand new Café Saint-Henri over on the Notre-Dame Basilica courtyard if you're swinging through Vieux-Montréal and need a specialty coffee.

For tonight, Osheaga's running full tilt at Parc Jean-Drapeau — Saturday pass is live, and Tate McRae's on the bill along with Sombr and Turnstile, so if that's your scene, the festival's got the goods. Cirque du Soleil's also running their new show, Echo, down at Jacques Cartier Pier at 4 PM if you want something waterfront. Or you could catch the CF Montreal match up at Saputo against New England at 7:30 — that's solid Saturday evening energy if you're into it. Louis-Jose Houde's doing a run at Théâtre Manuvie at 4 PM too if live comedy's more your speed. And if you're into classic rock reimagined, there's a Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon experience at Le Dome, also 4 PM.

Tennis-wise, the National Bank Open qualifications are running at Rogers Court starting at 10:30 AM if you want to catch some live play.

Just a heads-up: break-ins are up across the city this summer, nearly triple the spring average, so make sure your place is locked tight when you head out, yeah?

Go have a good one. Text if you need a spot recommendation.
