Cool Saturday—Warped Tour, soccer, and Pink Floyd after dark.

It's a crisp one out there. Plenty to do today if you're looking to get out.

Cool Saturday—Warped Tour, soccer, and Pink Floyd after dark.

Heads up: it's dropped to 13 this morning, so layer up if you're heading out early. The UV's running high at 7.0, so sunscreen still matters even when it's cool. You've got good light until 7:50 PM, so plan your evening around that.

There's a decent Saturday energy happening. If you're into live music and energy, Vans Warped Tour is running at Parc Jean-Drapeau starting at noon—that's the kind of day where the whole thing works even if it's a bit brisk. If you want something quieter in the morning, Tom Swoope's playing Le Balcon at 11.

On the food front, there's a heads-up worth noting: Costco's recalling some Cadbury Oreo bars and Alfa Croissants over allergen and mould issues, so check your freezer if you grabbed any recently. Also worth knowing—Quebec cheese recalls have expanded. If you stock up on local cheese, the Laiterie de Coaticook has pulled 33 products over E. coli concerns, plus some Italian fresh cheeses are flagged too. Worth a quick look at what's in your fridge.

Tonight's got options. CF Montreal's playing LA Galaxy at Saputo Stadium at 7:30 PM if you're a soccer person—that's the main event. If you'd rather stay warm indoors, there's a Pink Floyd immersive show (Dark Side of the Moon) happening at Le Dome with shows at 4 and 5:30 PM. That's more of a multimedia experience than a concert, so it's worth considering if you want something different. Le Balcon's also got Fiesta Cubana starting at 6 if you want Latin vibes and it's not too cold to sit outside on the terrasse.

It's one of those Saturdays where you've got the time to do something, the weather's not stopping you from trying, and there's enough on to pick your mood. Grab a coffee, bundle up a bit, and get out there.

Stay warm out there.
