Thursday's a warm one—20 degrees, soccer tonight, and live music calling.

It's a mild morning out there—20 degrees but feels like 26 with mostly cloudy skies, so leave the heavy jacket at home. UV's running high at 6, so if you're spending the afternoon outside, sunscreen isn't a bad call. Sun's down at 7:15, so you've got a full day of daylight to work with.

Nothing major on the commute front, so you should move fine however you're getting around town today.

André Pronovost, who won four Stanley Cups with the Habs back in the day, passed away at 90. If you're old enough to remember him play, there's a lot of Montreal hockey history walking out the door there.

If you're heading to the dep or the SAQ today, heads up on a couple of food recalls: Mini Danoise pastries have an allergen issue (milk, eggs, soya not declared on the label), and there's raw breaded chicken and fish getting pulled from five Viande à bas prix locations because the cooking instructions got left off. Check what you've got at home.

Heads up for anyone out in Laval—Grand Marché Col-Fax is warning people not to eat the Tarte fruits they're selling right now. Safety concern, so skip it for now.

On the brighter side, if you're thinking about lunch or dinner, Il Teatro just opened in Quartier des Spectacles and they're doing proper Rome-style pasta and Italian wine. Worth a look if you're downtown and hungry.

Tonally, tonight's got energy. The Roses de Montreal are playing AFC Toronto at Stade Boréale at 7, so if soccer's your thing, that's your night. If you're leaning toward live music instead, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon is running at Le Dôme (5:30 start), or head to Le Balcon X Terrasse for The Rewind—RnB, soul, and funk classics kicking off at 6. Metal heads: Vader's playing two spots tonight if you're in the mood. Nothing goes too late, so you can catch something and still be human tomorrow.

It's a solid Thursday. Warm enough to move easy, plenty to do if you're awake for it.
