Two documentary series centered on prominent Montreal families are coming to Canadian streaming platforms, offering intimate looks at business dynasties, family dynamics, and the pressures of public life.

"Salvatoré: une recette de famille" will premiere this fall on Noovo and Crave, exploring the Abbatiello group behind Pizza Salvatoré. The three-episode series, produced by Productions J (led by Julie Snyder), grants full access to the five siblings and their father as they navigate the family enterprise, which operates around 100 locations across Quebec. The project arrives against the backdrop of a 2025 controversy when co-president Guillaume Jr Abbatiello mocked artists seeking government cultural funding on social media, calling it "squandered public money." He later apologized.

A second series, "Les Guzzo," will debut on Crave in 2027, following Vincenzo Guzzo, president of the once-dominant Guzzo cinema chain, and his family as he attempts to rebuild after a collapse. The company was forced to sell its assets in 2024 to repay a debt of nearly 108 million dollars, and all seven cinemas closed in February 2025. Produced by Zone3 in collaboration with Bell Média, the series documents Guzzo as he seeks to redefine his business future while managing luxury, romance, family tensions, public image, and an extravagant lifestyle.
