Quebec dancer and choreographer Guillaume Côté has been inducted into the Petit Larousse illustré 2027, alongside 39 other notable figures from the century.

Côté, originally from Métabetchouan–Lac-à-la-Croix in the Lac-Saint-Jean region, joined Canada's National Ballet in 1999 and was promoted to principal dancer in 2004. He performed major roles with the company and worked alongside numerous dance icons before becoming associate choreographer from 2013 to 2025, creating numerous pieces that entered the company's repertoire.

In 2021, Côté founded his own company, Côté Danse, and created landmark works including Burn Baby, Burn in 2024. He has served as artistic director of the Festival des arts de Saint-Sauveur since 2014.

The 2027 Petit Larousse also added Quebec words including "réduflation," "claque" (cheerleading), and "bouquetière." The dictionary expanded its new-word section to reflect French language evolution, including "défilement morbide" (the translation of doomscrolling), "vocal" (a voice message sent in instant messaging), and "incel" (an adjective or noun related to the masculinist movement of self-described involuntarily celibate men).
