59-year-old in critical condition after vehicle slams into Sherbrooke Street West venue near Harvard Avenue
A 59-year-old driver is fighting for his life in hospital after crashing into the terrace of a business overnight in Montreal's Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough. Montreal police responded to the scene on Sherbrooke Street West near Harvard Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Friday after a vehicle slammed into a commercial terrace. The driver was given CPR at the scene before being transported to hospital in critical condition. SPVM spokesperson Manuel Couture said that officers currently "fear for his life." The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
