Larry Robinson emotional as Habs face Game 7 pressure
Hockey legend carries iconic torch at Bell Centre as Canadiens prepare for elimination game against Buffalo.
Hockey Hall of Famer Larry Robinson was visibly emotional carrying the famous torch into the Bell Centre ahead of Game 6 Saturday night, reflecting on the intensity of playoff hockey at the iconic venue. "I thought they were loud when we played," Robinson said, "but that was another octave. I had a big lump in my throat. It's pretty emotional when you come down there. It brings back a lot of great memories." Despite Robinson's nostalgic presence, the Canadiens fell short, setting the stage for a winner-take-all Game 7 Monday in Buffalo.
