Singer Nathalie Simard says she has had enough. In a forceful statement on social media, she denounced a Facebook group created to mock her, with content tied to a sexual assault she suffered at age nine.

The statement addresses hatred spread on social networks. In a separate interview with QUB the same morning, Simard said she had recently put in her place an internet user who trivialised the sexual assaults she suffered in childhood.

HighOnCity has previously reported on Simard's responses to mockery of her assaults, including a post denouncing a woman who made disparaging comments about her. The source does not name the Facebook group or its creator, or say how many people belong to it. It also does not give the date the group was created or the date of Simard's statement.
