A new direct bus line will connect Montreal-Trudeau airport to the REM starting June 17, offering summer travellers an additional transit option.
The 815 bus will run between the airport and Des Sources REM station, with a travel time of 15 to 20 minutes each way. Service runs through October 19 during the busy summer travel season, giving passengers access to downtown Montreal, the North Shore, and South Shore via the rapid transit network.
The service supplements the existing 747 bus that runs between downtown and the airport, plus other STM bus lines serving the terminal. Aéroports de Montreal (ADM) is financing the new route but did not disclose the cost.
ADM says the 815 could be renewed for next summer before the new REM line opens at Montreal-Trudeau in December 2027.
Separately, car-sharing company Communauto has partnered with the REM to deploy 26 new vehicles at nine REM stations, with the majority located on the West Island.
