Quebec police arrest 23 men in major child exploitation operation

Province-wide raid by 160+ officers seizes 4 million images

The Sûreté du Québec announced Friday the arrest of 23 men in connection with a major investigation into online child sexual exploitation. More than 160 officers from the Integrated Child Pornography Task Force coordinated the province-wide operation from May 11 to 14, executing raids across Montreal, Quebec City, Laval, Longueuil, and Gatineau. The men, ranging in age from 26 to 73, have been charged with possession, distribution, and access to child sexual abuse material, with seven remaining in custody. Police seized computer equipment and approximately 4 million images during the operation.
