Start the week outdoors while you can. Sunday brings mainly clear skies and a warm high of 27°C—ideal for a morning coffee on a Plateau patio or an afternoon at the Mountain before the clouds move in. If you're willing to leave the city, Snoop Dogg plays Beachclub in Pointe-Calumet at noon on Sunday; the West Coast rap legend who helped define G-funk and gangsta rap is a rare pull to the North Shore, though the drive runs about 31 kilometres north of downtown.

Monday and Tuesday stay mostly dry and warm, with highs near 29°C and 28°C respectively—the sweet spot to plan dinner outdoors. Tuesday evening brings the week's strongest cultural draw: Oumou Sangaré takes the MTELUS stage at 8:30 PM. The Malian vocalist and songwriter is rooted in African blues and world music traditions, and her shows are intimate despite the large room. Book a table at Jacopo beforehand on the Plateau for solid Italian cooking, or grab a drink after at one of the cafés that cracked North America's top 100 coffee shops this year—Café Pista, Café Saint-Henri, Micro Espresso, and Café Éclair all made the World's 100 Best Coffee Shops list.

Tuesday also catches LELO at Le Ministère at 8:00 PM if you prefer rap on a dry night.

Wednesday stays overcast but still manageable at 27°C with only light drizzle; by Thursday, the forecast darkens—heavy drizzle and a damp high of just 21°C, and Friday brings 44% rain chance. These are club nights and covered-venue nights. If you're in Brossard, about 12 kilometres south of downtown, Charles Brunet performs at Théâtre Manuvie on Thursday at 8:00 PM, or catch the PINK FLOYD: DARK SIDE OF THE MOON production running through July 10 at Le Dome in Brossard—eight performances across the week give you multiple chances to grab a seat indoors during the wet stretch.

Saturday clears slightly to overcast with a 26°C high and only 9% rain, making it viable for an evening out. Rachid Badouri headlines L'Olympia Theatre at 8:00 PM—a solid comedy night to cap the week.

For dining through the wet middle days, Maggie Oakes offers solid bar-and-grill fare and a warm room when Thursday's drizzle sets in. If you're chasing the clear stretch early, Pigeon Café & Bar is a breakfast spot worth hitting Monday or Tuesday morning before the week's mood shifts.

If you've got one night to commit to, Tuesday is your pick: clear skies, warm air, and Oumou Sangaré's voice filling MTELUS at the exact moment the week is at its best.
