Wednesday's warm—and volleyball's coming indoors tonight.

It's a decent morning out there. 19 degrees, mostly cloudy, and you've got a full 15 and a half hours of daylight to work with. UV's sitting at 4.0, which means you'll want sunscreen if you're outside for any stretch—nothing extreme, but worth the habit. Sun won't dip until 8:50 PM, so if you're planning something for tonight or later, you've got time.

Commute looks straightforward—no major disruptions flagged, so you should be sorted getting in however you usually do.

There's some stuff worth knowing if you've been half-paying attention to the news. Police are looking for someone involved in an assault on Michael Cowpland Drive where racial slurs and threats came into it—worth being aware of if you're in that area. Separately, there's an odd one: a crossbow bolt went through an Orléans home and investigators are still sorting what happened there. On the business side, a local AI firm's been working on how to help small businesses navigate regulatory compliance—the kind of thing that matters if you're running anything or know someone who is.

If you're thinking food, there's some new action. That's Bananas opened up on Baseline Road with Brazilian street food if you want to mix up lunch. BeaverTails has a summer collab with Kraft Dinner coming if you're into that kind of thing. Or if you're craving good savoury crepes, Gourmandes has folks talking.

Tonight, volleyball's the move if you want to get out. Volleyball Nations League starts Day 1 at The Arena at TD Place at 4:00 PM—indoor, so you're not battling the drizzle that's supposed to roll in. If that's not your scene, there's a baseball game earlier: Brockton Rox playing the Ottawa Titans at the stadium at 3:30 PM, though that's daytime so weather-dependent. Otherwise, stream something warm and dry.

This weekend's shaping up nice—live music lined up Friday and Saturday if you're looking ahead. Josh Johnson's comedy, Illscarlett's 20-year celebration, plus a tribute band if you want to lean into the classics.

Stay warm out there, and catch you tomorrow.
