Light drizzle and a Blackjacks game to chase the midweek.

Wednesday's warm but damp — grab an umbrella, catch the game tonight if you're heading out.

Light drizzle and a Blackjacks game to chase the midweek.

It's 16°C and drizzling this morning, so you'll want a layer and something to shed if the sun breaks through later. The UV's running high at 6.0, so if you do get a break in the clouds, your skin will feel it — sunscreen's worth the two seconds. Sunset's at 8:42 PM, so you've got a decent evening if you're planning anything outside.

Commute-wise, nothing's flagged for disruption, so you should be good to move as usual.

A couple of things worth knowing: a local family doctor matchmaker has connected 445 patients to primary care in the last six months — if you've been stuck without a GP, sounds like the program's making real headway. And Lansdowne Park's taking a fresh look at how it uses its event spaces now that the Charge have moved over to the CTC — something to watch as the year rolls on.

If you're thinking dinner, there's some new life in the restaurant scene right now. Ruby's is in the mix, and Junior & The Kid BBQ just opened — worth checking out if you're craving something different. Over in Little Italy, Ayla's Social Kitchen is doing global flavours from Mediterranean to Iranian, which could be exactly what tonight calls for.

The Blackjacks play the Scarborough Shooting Stars tonight at 7:30 PM at The Arena at TD Place. Weather's decent enough for heading out if you're into it — a bit damp, but nothing that'll wreck the experience. If you need a caffeine boost beforehand, Little Victories coffee stand just debuted at Bluesfest with espresso martinis and nitro brews, so there's a vibe there too.

If you're staying in, no judgment — midweek calls for whatever works. But if you've got energy, tonight's a solid option to get out.

Stay dry out there.
