Sun's decent, UV's at 5, so pack the sunscreen if you're heading out for more than a quick errand. You've got nearly 12 hours of daylight to work with, so there's no rush, but sunset's at 6:51, so plan your evening accordingly if you're thinking outdoors.

Tonight's got real options. Cirque du Soleil's *Luzia* is running at St Laurent Shopping Centre — matinee at 1:00 PM if you want to catch it this afternoon, and another show at 4:30 PM. If live music's your thing, The Planet Smashers are at Overflow Brewing Co. at 6:30 PM with Mustard Plug, K-Man and the 45s, and General Chaos on the bill too. That's a full lineup. And if comedy's what you need, Daniel Lanois is doing *Deux Voix Une Capitale* at The Bronson at 7:00 PM.

On the sports side, the 67s are home at The Arena at TD Place at 3:00 PM against Sarnia — if you've got the afternoon free, that's a solid way to fill it.

Few things worth knowing: The Senators had a mixed preseason outing against Montreal, and Jake Sanderson had to leave early. Worth keeping an eye on that heading into the regular season. Also, if you're on Preston Street heading to your usual spot, the Nutty Greek Bake Shop has closed after 15 years — they're gone. On the flip side, Ruby's just opened in the ByWard Market with small plates and a serious wine program if you're looking for somewhere new. Ek Bar's closing by month-end too, so if you've been meaning to check it out, now's the time.
