Cactus Club Cafe has rolled out a new summer menu aimed at making this the best patio season yet.
The centerpiece is The Niner, a $9 smash burger available exclusively on the Happy Hour menu during afternoon and late-night service at all locations. The burger features a smashed beef patty topped with melted cheese, pickles, onions, and burger sauce on a toasted brioche bun—serious quality without the serious price tag.
Beyond the burger deal, Cactus is spotlighting fresh plates and refreshing drinks. New offerings include Scallop & Prawn Ceviche and a reimagined Lemongrass Noodle Salad. On the drink side, the fan-favourite Frosé has officially returned with its signature strawberry notes. The menu also features a White Sangria—a bright, fruit-forward remix—and the Paloma Rosa, a tequila-citrus-and-spice concoction positioned as a new summer go-to.
The timing reflects broader momentum: summer 2026 is shaping up to be record-breaking for patios across major Canadian cities. Outdoor dining can account for up to half of a restaurant's total sales in peak months, and with the FIFA World Cup bringing hundreds of thousands of visitors and a stacked lineup of summer events, demand is heavy. Restaurants investing in staffing, guest experience, and operational prep beforehand are best positioned to capitalize.
