Missing Barrhaven man found safe

Wentao Huang, the 78-year-old man reported missing Friday morning in Barrhaven, has been found safe. Ottawa Police Service initially asked for public help locating Huang after he left his home around 9:20 a.m. on June 5 for a walk in the area of Barnsdale and Borrisokane roads. He was described as an Asian man, five feet 11 inches tall with a thin build, bald and clean-shaven, last seen wearing a brown long-sleeved shirt and black pants with a hat and possibly carrying a cane and red or orange bag. The service confirmed his safe recovery Saturday.
