In response to questions HighOnCity raised about Ottawa's upcoming municipal election, the French-language Catholic school board (CEPEO) confirmed that all election information is available on the City of Ottawa's official website.
"All the information regarding the election date, the voting process and the candidates is available on the municipalities' websites, in that case the City of Ottawa," the board's media team said in a statement.
As HighOnCity reported in August, the municipal election is set for October 26, 2026, with early voting beginning October 1. Municipal candidates have been certified, and candidates were elected by acclamation.
