Water main installation work is underway on Danforth Avenue near Barrington Avenue, creating significant traffic disruptions in both directions.
The work runs daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for the duration of the project. Westbound traffic will be shifted into the HOV and bike lanes, and cyclists will share the lane with vehicles as shown on the traffic control plan.
Eastbound traffic will be redirected into the westbound driving lane and will travel on the opposite side of the road. Both eastbound driving lanes and the eastbound HOV lane will remain closed while the water main work is underway.
