A man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in North York on Saturday. Toronto police say the man was struck by a truck in the Sheppard Avenue and Allen Road area just after 2:30 p.m..
Paramedics transported the man to a trauma centre with critical injuries. Police say both the driver and vehicle remained at the scene.
