Tim Hortons Fountain Drinks Are Finally Coming to Canada
Canada's coffee giant is rolling out fountain sodas and a new line of 'Soda Swirls' to locations nationwide.
If you've ever wondered why Tim Hortons—a Canadian institution—never had fountain drinks while American chains took that for granted, the wait is finally over. The coffee giant has confirmed it's rolling out fountain drink machines across Canadian Tim Hortons locations, a move many have been waiting for since the company's inception.
Starting now, customers will be able to grab crispy fountain Coke, Diet Coke, Fuze Iced Tea, and Minute Maid Lemonade—a simple addition that somehow never happened until 2026. But Tim's isn't stopping there. They're also launching a line called Soda Swirls, their take on the ultra-popular dirty soda trend that's been blowing up on TikTok and Instagram.
Three flavours are hitting the menu: Cherry Soda Swirl (Coke or Diet Coke base with cherry syrup and foam), Vanilla Soda Swirl (vanilla syrup instead of cherry), and Vanilla Light Soda Swirl (sugar-free vanilla). The combinations are straightforward but effective—that blend of sugary sweetness with a foamy top has mass appeal for good reason.
Some Tim's locations where machines have already been installed may already be serving Soda Swirls, though they haven't hit the official app menu yet. If you want to find out whether your nearest location has them, check the Tim Hortons app and browse the New & Seasonal section.
It's a small thing, but it signals that Tim's is willing to evolve beyond coffee and donuts. Whether fountain drinks and soda swirls become signature items or fade quietly into the menu depends on execution and taste—but for now, they're worth trying.
