Highway 403 closed in Mississauga after dump truck hits overpass

A portion of Highway 403 in Mississauga shut down Friday morning after a dump truck with a raised box struck an overpass near Hurontario Street. No other vehicles were involved and no injuries reported, but Ontario Provincial Police called in a bridge inspector to assess structural damage and confirm the bridge remains safe. Eastbound lanes between Mavis Road and Hurontario remain closed with traffic diverted.
