Car plows into pedestrians in Italian city, 8 injured critically

A car plowed into pedestrians in Modena in northern Italy on Saturday, injuring eight people with four in critical condition. Mayor Massimo Mezzetti said no one was killed but one victim required amputation of both legs after being pinned against a shop window. A 31-year-old local man has been detained and is being questioned by police as authorities investigate the circumstances.
