Calgary's downtown core will buzz with World Cup festivities as Canada hosts part of the 2026 tournament. All of Team Canada's group stage matches will be broadcast on giant LED screens at Eau Claire Plaza, with the mid-July finale shown on Stephen Avenue.

These free watch parties run from 1 p.m. to late evening and feature a family-friendly fan zone complete with mascots, food trucks, and youth soccer drills organized by Calgary Wild FC and Cavalry FC, the city's professional women's and men's soccer clubs.

Canada faces Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday, June 12 at 1 p.m. Qatar follows Thursday, June 18 at 4 p.m. Switzerland rounds out group play Wednesday, June 24 at 1 p.m. The championship match airs Sunday, July 19 at 1 p.m. on Stephen Avenue.

For those seeking indoor viewing, select Cineplex locations — Sunridge Spectrum and Scotiabank Theatre Chinook — are broadcasting 20 World Cup matches in theatres, including all Team Canada games, semi-finals, the third-place match, and the final. Sunridge offers recliner seating. Book in advance online.

Deerfoot Inn and Casino's Chrome Showroom hosts paid watch parties for every Team Canada game with giant screens, immersive sound, and a burger and drink included with entry.

The south and west Calgary Farmers' Markets will also screen matches daily when markets are open, with food and drink specials inspired by the competing nations. The World Cup runs through July 19, featuring 48 national teams competing across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
