Calgary police are asking the public for help after a man drove himself to the hospital with stab wounds from a road rage incident.
It happened just before 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, when staff at the Peter Lougheed Centre in the city's northeast reported a man had arrived with stab wounds, explaining he had been injured in a road rage incident. He was initially in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
Officers believe the incident occurred between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. along 36 Street NE between the Dover area and the Peter Lougheed Centre.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the event or have dashcam footage to call Calgary police at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
