Man wanted in string of southeast break-ins
Police seek 32-year-old Dylan Joseph Durant in connection with May 1 incidents in Maple Ridge and Willow Park.
Calgary police are looking for a man wanted in connection with multiple overnight break-ins in southeast Calgary.
The incidents occurred in the early morning hours of May 1 in Maple Ridge and Willow Park. Around 1:30 a.m., a man was captured on a security camera leaving a home on Maple Grove Place SE after stealing electronics. At approximately 3:22 a.m., the same suspect broke into a utility trailer on Willowgreen Drive SE, taking sporting equipment and unopened oil containers. Then around 5 a.m., he entered a parked white 2012 Jeep Wrangler on Maplecreek Drive SE, though nothing was taken.
After reviewing security footage, police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Dylan Joseph Durant. He is wanted on one count of break and enter with intent, two counts of break and enter to commit, and six counts of failing to comply with a release order.
Durant is described as 5'7", approximately 160 pounds, with a slim build, nearly bald with short brown hair. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Calgary police at 403-266-1234. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers.
