Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement warning of significant snowfall in the mountain parks and Foothills that could reach Calgary by Saturday morning. The snow is expected to begin Friday night or early Saturday, moving eastward toward the city throughout the morning, with the heaviest snow expected Saturday.
