Elderbrook—Alexander Harry Kotz, an English electronic musician and DJ whose 2015 track "How Many Times" was remixed by Andhim and ranked among Mixmag's best songs that year—plays Commonwealth Bar & Stage at 10 p.m. The same night, GorillaT hits The Palace Theatre at the same time, both as part of Chasing Summer Day 2. Dino Archie brings stand-up to The Laugh Shop August 5 through 8. He won the 2015 Seattle International Comedy Competition and has built a reputation as a sharp American-Canadian comedian based in Vancouver. Four nights of comedy gives you flexibility, and Wednesday through Thursday offer the warmest, clearest stretch of the week—pack The Laugh Shop into an evening that could otherwise send you outdoors.
