Lloydminster RCMP have issued an arrest warrant for Robert Lee Plourde, a 30-year-old from Turtleford, Saskatchewan, accused in a targeted gang shooting last November that left two men with serious injuries.
Officers responded to Lloydminster Hospital on November 10 after the two men arrived with gunshot wounds. Investigators determined the shooting was gang-related and targeted. Both men sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and did not cooperate with police at the time.
Police later identified a suspected crime scene in the 4700 block of 32 Street in Lloydminster and located a vehicle believed involved in the shooting. Through search warrants and forensic investigation, officers recovered a firearm believed used in the incident.
Plourde faces multiple charges: discharging a firearm with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, and possession of a firearm while prohibited.
He's described as medium complexion, 5'10", approximately 264 pounds, with a distinctive teardrop tattoo near his left eye. Attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.
Anyone with information on Plourde's whereabouts can contact Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477. The case remains active as police continue their search across the region.
