Bündok, a locally sourced restaurant located at 10228 104th Street NW in downtown Edmonton, has permanently closed after nine and a half years in operation.
The restaurant team announced the closure over the weekend on Instagram, thanking the community for memories shared at the intimate spot known for fresh, locally sourced dishes and finely crafted drinks. "Running a restaurant is tough at the best of times, and as things have continued to mount up against us, we've decided the best thing to do is move on," the team wrote.
The closure adds to an ongoing list of downtown Edmonton restaurants that have shuttered this year. Boston Pizza, one of the oldest standing franchise locations in the city, closed in March. Another arcade bar, Greta, is set to close its doors after Sunday, July 26, following six years of operation.
