The Leduc Arts Foundry is hosting an Indigenous Artists Exhibition from June 25 through July 30, showcasing the work of seven Indigenous creators working across multiple mediums.

The exhibition features muralist Ryan Willert, whose public installations appear in hospitals and schools throughout Alberta. Also featured is Jessica Desmoulin, whose work explores connections between people, land, animals, plants, and the spirit world.

The opening reception is Thursday, June 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitors can meet the artists, hear their stories firsthand, and experience work across beadwork, birch bark biting art, stitching, Amaamas style, and other traditional and contemporary methods.

"This reception offers a unique opportunity to experience the rich cultural traditions and contemporary expressions reflected in the artists' work," the Foundry said.
