Edmonton teen Rayan Elloumi headed to FIFA World Cup for Tunisia
St. Albert native will compete at soccer's biggest stage after playing for local youth clubs
An 18-year-old from the Edmonton area is heading to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Rayan Elloumi, born in St. Albert, played youth soccer with Edmonton Juventus SC and Edmonton BTB SC before joining the Vancouver Whitecaps. Now, after making his MLS debut last season, he's been selected to represent Tunisia at the World Cup — one of the biggest stages in international soccer.
