Edmonton police are asking the public to help identify a suspect in an arson at a south Edmonton community league rink.

Officers responded around 5:30 a.m. on May 24 to reports of fire damage at the rink near 113 Street and 25 Avenue. Investigators determined the fire was deliberately set and have identified a male suspect from surveillance footage.

The suspect was wearing black pants, a black jacket, and black and white running shoes. He also had white over-ear headphones around his neck and was carrying a dark coloured backpack.
