Edmonton police are searching for two men suspected in a brutal assault that left an adult male hospitalized with serious head injuries in Callingwood North on August 31.
The victim was found on a sidewalk near 174 Street and 77 Avenue around 2:50 a.m. Edmonton Police Service officers and paramedics responded to the scene. Surveillance footage shows an altercation between the victim and two unidentified male suspects shortly before the assault.
The first suspect is described as having a slim build and ear-length dark hair. At the time of the attack, he wore a black or grey hooded jacket with a reflective stripe across the back (similar to a construction vest), a white shirt, black pants, black shoes, and white socks. The second suspect wore a black hoodie and black pants. Police believe the suspects removed their jackets shortly after the assault.
