David Letterman is bringing his comedy to Montreal for the first time, headlining an evening with special guest Will Arnett at this year's Just For Laughs festival.
The show is set for Tuesday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts. It marks Letterman's first Canadian performance since 1978 and follows a sold-out appearance at Just For Laughs Vancouver in February.
Nick Brazao, VP of Programming & Talent at Just For Laughs, called the pairing of "two of the most celebrated voices in entertainment" an incredible opportunity for festival audiences. "Their influence on comedy, television, film, and popular culture is undeniable," Brazao said.
Presale for the show begins today at 10 a.m. ET for JFL members and Place des Arts subscribers. Public ticket sales start Tuesday, June 30, at 10 a.m. ET.
Just For Laughs runs July 15 to 26, 2026, and will feature Jerry Seinfeld, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias, Atsuko Okatsuka, Gerry Dee, Lucy Darling, Joel Kim Booster, and a Mae Martin Netflix special taping. Tickets and lineup details are available at hahaha.com.
