Festival Juste pour rire continues through July 26 across Montreal with a full slate of theatre, comedy and musical performances.

Les misérables, a large-scale French theatrical adaptation of Victor Hugo's novel, runs at Espace St-Denis through the weekend. The production reunites about 50 artists, including 16 musicians, and features Quebec performers Alex Gaumond as Jean Valjean, Debbie Lynch-White as Madame Thénardier, and Roger Larue as Monsieur Thénardier. Performances are Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Franco-Tunisian actor Hakim Jemili presents Fatigué, his second one-man show, July 20 at 7 p.m. at L'Olympia de Montréal. The solo performance addresses personal stories, including the birth of his son, and reflects on societal polarization through humour.

Elodie Poux's gala La dernière volonté unfolds as a comedic mystery: an estranged uncle who died in Montreal left her an inheritance, but she must organize a celebration with artists he loved. The show brings together Franco-Belgian and Quebec comedians including Booder, Jarry, Kev Adams, Alex Vizorek, and others. July 20 at 8:30 p.m., Théâtre Maisonneuve at Place des Arts.
