British singer Lily Allen has cancelled her Montreal concert scheduled for September 8 at Centre Bell as part of a broader restructuring of her Performs West End Girl North American tour.
The tour now includes 12 dates, down from the original plan, with stops in Toronto and Vancouver (ending September 28). Rather than performing in arenas, Allen will play smaller, more intimate venues across most of the revised itinerary. Montreal is the only city on the original schedule where she opted to cancel entirely rather than relocate to a smaller space.
In an Instagram post, Allen said she "tried hard" to maintain the Montreal date but that it wasn't possible this time.
