The Montreal Book Fair—now in its 49th edition—will run November 25-29 at the Palais des congrès, centered on the theme "Dare."
The identity for this year's fair emphasizes the act of reading itself: daring to slow down, to feel, to see differently. In a society pushing people to follow predetermined paths and think quickly, the fair frames books and reading as rare spaces of freedom, reflection, and transformation.
The visual identity was designed by Caserne in collaboration with Quebec illustrator Mathieu Lavoie.
Until July 19, early-bird Passport tickets are available for presale. A Passport provides access to the entire fair duration at the price of a single day's entry.
The fair operates across multiple formats: the Salon in the City activates libraries, bookstores, cafés, and museums across Greater Montreal (programming revealed mid-October), while an online salon and classroom and audio programs run year-round. The main Palais programming will be unveiled at the end of October.
