Saint-Jean-Baptiste celebrations are underway across the Montréal region and beyond, with multi-day programming honouring the 75th birthday of hockey legend Guy Lafleur.

In Montréal, the festivities centre on Parc Maisonneuve. The traditional Saint-Jean-Baptiste parade kicks off at noon on Wednesday, June 24, followed by family activities throughout the afternoon. The main concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, featuring generations of Quebec musicians — Diane Dufresne, Harmonium, Pierre Lapointe, and Souldia among them. The evening winds down around midnight with DJ Vincent-Guy Aubry, the official DJ of the Montreal Canadiens. The broadcast airs at 8 p.m. on Radio-Canada and TVA.

Québec City celebrates on the Plains of Abraham. Tuesday, June 23, performers including Gab Bouchard, Lou-Adriane Cassidy, Claude Dubois, and Marie-Mai take the stage around 7:30 p.m., with the broadcast at 9:30 p.m. on Télé-Québec and Rouge FM. Wednesday brings hockey challenges, children's activities, and folk dancing.

In Laval, the Centre de la nature hosts music starting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, with DJ Montana and Waahli. The main show, featuring Richard Séguin, Lisa LeBlanc, Ingrid St-Pierre, and Ariane Roy, starts at 8:30 p.m.

Terrebonne's Théâtre du Vieux-Terrebonne opens festivities at 6 p.m. Tuesday, with performances by Roch Voisine and rapper Jay Scøtt from 8:15 p.m.

On the South Shore, Brossard's Parc Sorbonne offers food trucks, local beer, carnival games, and hockey-bottines from 6 p.m. Tuesday, followed by performances by Albert Asselin and Guylaine Tanguay, with fireworks around 10 p.m. Longueuil's Rue Saint-Charles Ouest hosts music from 4:30 p.m. Tuesday with Muhoza and Louis-Jean Cormier, then electronic music from les Brûlés.
