Longueuil police arrested Kevon John McAnuff on September 13 following a home invasion and sexual assault in the city on September 12 at approximately 2:20 a.m. McAnuff appeared in court on September 22 and faces charges of sexual assault, assault causing bodily harm, breaking and entering into a residential dwelling, disguising oneself for a criminal purpose, and making threats.
Investigators have linked McAnuff to a second similar incident on August 3, 2026. The two attacks involved victims of different ages — one woman in her 20s and another in her 60s. McAnuff is expected to remain in custody pending further legal proceedings.
Police describe McAnuff as approximately 1.78 metres (5'10") tall, weighing 70 kilograms (154 pounds), with a slim build. He has a distinctive gait and certain speech characteristics, and is a smoker who speaks English.
