Two different charts, two different leaders: Bleu Jeans Bleu's "Scotch & Poches" sits atop Quebec's ADISQ rankings this week, while American country artist Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" dominates Spotify's most-streamed list in Montreal.
The ADISQ palmarès, which tracks the most popular songs from Quebec and Canadian Francophone artists across radio airplay, digital sales, and streaming, has Bleu Jeans Bleu at number one. Charlotte Cardin holds second place with "The Way We Touch," followed by William Cloutier and Zach Chico's "Où on dansait autrefois" at three, Gabriel Fredette's "Le bon choix" at four, and Arpin Lépine's "Chance" rounding out the top five.
Spotify's local chart tells a different story. Ella Langley, an American country singer, leads Montreal listeners, trailed by Drake's "Janice STFU" at number two. Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" has resurged to number three, buoyed by interest from the box-office success of the Michael Jackson biopic. Dominic Fike's "Babydoll" sits at four, and Justin Bieber's "Beauty and the Beat" (featuring Nicki Minaj) rounds out the top five.
The Spotify chart reflects the most-streamed songs in Montreal for the week of June 19–25, capturing what the city is actually listening to in real time.
