Warm and humid conditions return to Montreal today, with sunny skies and temperatures climbing to 29°C. With humidity factored in, it will feel closer to 32°C, and the UV index is forecast to reach a very high level of 8.
Clouds increase overnight before an unsettled weather pattern arrives Wednesday. Environment and Climate Change Canada is calling for cloudy conditions with a 40 percent chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms late in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach 28°C, with a humidex of 34.
The remainder of the week stays warm, with daytime highs ranging from 28°C to 30°C, but clouds and periodic shower chances are expected from Wednesday night through Friday. A return to sunshine is forecast for Saturday at 27°C. Shower chances return Sunday and Monday, with highs easing into the mid-20s.
Temperatures will remain above seasonal norms through most of the week.
