Montrealers will see a repeat of last week's oppressive heat Wednesday as the humidex climbs into the 40s.
Wednesday will be mainly sunny with a high of 33 Celsius and a humidex of 41. The UV level will reach 9, classified as very high.
Evening will grow increasingly cloudy but remain balmy, with a low of 23 C.
Thursday brings a change: clouds will stick around with a high of 25 C and humidex of 30. There's a 40 percent chance of showers late in the morning and a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Low of 20 C.
Friday clears up with sunny skies, a high of 28 C and a low of 18 C. The weekend looks pleasant with sun both Saturday and Sunday, highs of 29 C each day.
